JAMES RENSINK

Picture
Our Music Director, James Rensink, is a world-renowned musician who has performed at Lincoln Center as leading baritone, pianist, composer and conductor. Mr. Rensink has received a special citation from the Congress of the United States for his outstanding achievements and has appeared with members of the New York Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and soloists, the American Ballet Theater, and many others.

Having sung more than seventy leading operatic roles in twenty-five countries, he is a favorite of conductors and audiences. His performing career has taken him to each of the fifty United States and to many leading cultural venues, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and Lincoln Center. Mr. Rensink curtailed his worldwide travels to raise his triplet sons, Nate, Jake and Alex, the first triplets ever to be admitted to the Juilliard School Pre-College Division. He has appeared in solo recital with each of his sons at Lincoln Center. Most recently,  Mr. Rensink was highly honored to be the musician at the 10th anniversary dedication of the flight 93 memorial in Shanksville Pennsylvania.
